AMRITSAR: A two-day capacity building programme in adolescence education was organised for the teachers at Bhavan’s SL Public School here today.

A two-day capacity building programme in adolescence education was organised for the teachers at Bhavan’s SL Public School here today.

The resource person was Shabnam (Principal, Disciplined Disciples International School, FGC Road, Amritsar). The workshop was attended by 64 teachers from different CBSE schools.

Seema Sethi, Rajwinder and Poonam Sharma extended floral welcome to the august speaker on behalf of the school management.

The session began with a lamp lighting. The challenges that the adolescents face and how the society can accept these changes as the essential part were discussed in the first phase of the workshop.

Presentations on mood swings of adolescents, changes during puberty, challenges faced by adolescents and puberty, adolescents and youth were given by the teachers in groups. — TNS
