Several teams were constituted to nab him. A checkpoint was installed at Lohgarh to keep a vigil on the movement of miscreants. After seeing the police checkpoint, a pedestrian tried to escape from the spot. The cops chased him down and seized a .12 bore rifle and three cartridges.”

According to Walia, Harpreet Singh, alias Happy, has already been arrested by the Mehta police two days ago. A case under Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered against Mithu.
