Lok Insaaf Party chief and MLA Simarjit Singh Bains has challenged Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal for an open debate on the current issues and present circumstances in the state. He has shared this message on his Facebook page.
In his post, he offered both leaders to decide the venue and time for the debate on the current circumstances in the state. He claimed that he would expose them in front of the people. Bains is a candidate of the Punjab Democratic Alliance for the Ludhiana parliamentary seat.
During his election campaign, Bains conducted meetings with people at the villages of Khatra, Seelon Khurd, Jartouli and others. He said he would be working to end corruption in government offices if he became MP. “It is our agenda to provide necessary services at villages,” he said during his campaign.
Bains also appealed to the youth to must vote for strengthening the democracy. Meanwhile, he announced the name of Paras Narang as president of Ward No. 44 and the youth wing of LIP.
SAD leader joins Congress
The SAD leader and chairman of Agriculture Development Bank, Jagraon, Manjit Inderpal Singh Dhillon, on Saturday joined the Congress in the presence of Ravneet Singh Bittu. Bittu and other Congress leaders claimed that the party would be further strengthened in the Jagraon area. Bittu alleged that the Modi government had miserably failed to fulfil any of the promises made during the 2014 elections and the 2019 general elections would be a referendum against the NDA government.
