Bakshi Stadium repair to be over in 2 months

The Bakshi Stadium here is getting transformed into a state-of-the-art ground and is expected to be ready in next two months.
The stadium, located in the centre of Srinagar city, is undergoing massive renovation executed by National Project Construction Corporation Limited.
The district administration on its Twitter account announced the state-of-the-art Bakshi Stadium would be ready in the next two months and Deputy Commissioner Shahid Chaudhry would monitor its progress on a daily basis.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Tuesday visited the stadium where he inspected ongoing developmental works. He issued strict directions to the executing agency to expedite the work on the project in double shifts so that it gets completed within the given time frame.
He also directed the police to ensure that the vehicles ferrying construction material for the ongoing work get smooth passage and also asked the power development department to install a 33-KV dedicated feeder for flood lights.
