80 students receive certificates after finishing basic computer course

As many as 80 students received certificates after successfully completing their basic computer skill training course during an event at Kamson Institute here today.
The course was sponsored by the Bathinda unit of the National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) under its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The duration of the course was 120 hours and helped the students in acquiring the basic operations skills of the computer. The aim of the course was to make them capable of getting jobs in computer-related professions.
The course was conducted at an estimated investment of Rs 2.80 lakh. The computer training course is a contribution of the NFL, Bathinda, to the ‘Skill India Vision’ of the Prime Minister.
Sunil Arora, general manager (In-charge), NFL Bathinda Unit, was the chief guest at the event. He urged the students to pursue more academic and vocational training courses to contribute to the growth of the nation.
