Babbu Mann back in ‘Bazz’ to show police in positive light

After a long hiatus from the Punjabi films, Babbu Mann will now be seen in “Baaz” with stars Pooja Verma, Yograj Singh, Sardar Sohi and Mukul Dev. Simerjit Singh has directed the film. The producers of the film are Bobby Garcha, Sukhjinder Singh Bahia, Joginder Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Khushwant Grewal.
Man said the film has tried to portray Punjab police in a positive light, including through the song, ‘Enni vi nahi maadi police Punjab di’ (Punjab police is not so bad).
“I am playing the role of Inderpal Singh Sidhu, an honest police officer. The film gives a social message about the good policemen in the force. Also, being the lyricist of the film, I’ve tried to pen good words about the police according to the theme of the film,” said Mann.
Mann has also composed the music of the film.
Model-turned-Bollywood actor Mukul Dev will be seen playing the bad man. Mukul Dev plays the character of Darbara Singh who works as a social worker but is actually a criminal.
Elaborating on her experience of working in the film, leading lady of the film, Pooja Verma said working with this team was a dream come true and she had a great time working with such creative people.
The action-packed film has been penned by Dheeraj Rattan while the dialogues have been written by Babbu Maan, Rajesh Verma, Surmeet Maavi and Jatinder Lal.
