Bachpan school organises annual function

A play school Bachpan celebrated its annual day function on its campus at Jivi Nagar on Sunday. In the function, small children participated and demonstrated their creative skills. The theme of the function was “Fairy Tale”.

The function started with Ganesh Vandana. Students of Nursery class left the audience spellbound with their performance in retro, bhangra and contemporary dance. Folk dances of different states were also performed by students of LKG and UKG classes.

Various ethnic and cultural dance shows were show stoppers. A play “Female Foeticide” was presented by students of Nursery, LKG and UKG. Now also there are some people in our society who still prefer a boy than a girl. The play was highly applauded by the audience.

The chief guest of the function was MF Farooqui, IGP, Bathinda. He applauded the efforts of these small children. He said children were like blossoms of our field whom we should nourish with good moral and social values, water them with our kindness so that they could grow up to be better citizens of this nation.
