Bathinda, October 14

The Communist Party of India (CPI) is planning to organize its cadre and corner the BJP government on its ‘anti-people’ policies which have destroyed the country. This was stated by the national secretary of the party Shamim Faizi during a visit to Bathinda today. Earlier during the day, Faizi went to Barnala and Mansa to mobilise party leaders and workers. He would be visiting Tarn Taran and Amritsar also.

“Under the BJP government, the country is moving towards communal intolerance and unrest. The fact that an increased cases of lynching, mostly of Dalits, are coming to light, points that the party is propagating only Hinduism in the country and people belonging to the minority sections are feeling unsafe,” he said.

Faizi added that the time had come for the people of the country to vote for secularism. He also challenged the Modi government to make public the names of 500 Indians who have stacked wealth in foreign banks or have invested in dubious firms to turn their black money into white.

Faizi also questioned the BJP government over its promise to remove tainted ministers and leaders from their posts. — TNS
