At an age when his classmates are spending time on Play Station (PS) and computer games, Aaryan Bhardwaj, a Class VIII student of Delhi Public School has put his book ‘The Chronicles of Traumula: The Last Assignment’ on the popular e-book site Smashworld.com. He already has a book ‘Creaturonia’ to his credit.

The latest book is a witty novel about an adventurous journey across Traumula, a fictional world of dreams. The story revolves around eight ordinary school-going teens who embark on a dangerous quest to battle a foe who holds the world’s fate at stake.

A leading Punjabi writer, Prof Gurdial Singh, once wrote to the family of the 13-year-old child, “Leave him alone, this boy will find his own way”.

The chronicles consisting of 29 chapters has 9,800 words. Aaryan also authored a play, which was staged at his school recently.
