Whitefield School and Little Kingdom Nursery School on Saturday celebrated their annual day on the Whitefield School campus.
Children in the age group of three to 10 years danced to the tune of various songs. Each child of the school participated in the annual day function.
The function started with the lighting of diya by Gurcharan Grover, followed by a prayer song and then dances on Hindi and English songs. It finally concluded with the traditional Punjabi bhangra.
A short skit delivering the message of save environment was performed by students. The performance of the children at such a tender age was breathtaking.
With Christmas around the corner, the school was beautifully decorated for celebrations. Santa was nicely crafted and showcased along with a huge Christmas tree, which was decorated with gifts. A few children came dressed up in Santa caps and red clothes.
The managing director of both schools, Harvinder Grover, while addressing the kids and their parents, said the upbringing of children was the most important thing each parent’s life.
