Company, bank booked for duping resident

A case has been registered against Google* Octro Inc. company and HDFC Bank in a fraud case. It has been alleged that the company had taken out Rs 1.04 lakh from the complainant’s HDFC credit card.
Gurinder Kumar, a resident of Rampura, has stated in his complaint that the accused company had taken out Rs 1.04 lakh from his HDFC credit card.
Police officials said they had registered a case against the company and HDFC Bank and started a probe into the case. However, no arrest had been made in the case so far.
Principal, teacher booked
The principal and a teacher of Khalsa Senior Secondary School here have been booked on the charges of not giving medical aid to a student after she got injured in the school.
Complainant Randhir Singh, a resident of Talwandi Sabo, has stated that his daughter Sumanpreet Kaur got injured while playing in the school but the school management did not give her medical aid.
Police officials said they had registered a case against principal Deep Kaur and teacher Gurmeet Kaur.
A case under Section 269 and 34 of the IPC has been registered against both the accused at Talwandi Sabo police station.
