The Silver Oaks School, located on Dabwali Road, Bathinda, on Tuesday organised a cooking without fire competition entitled “Charismatic Cooking” for students of Classes III to VI to celebrate World Health Day.
The aim was to make students aware of healthy food and encourage them to avoid junk food and inculcate in them the habit of eating healthy food. Students took part in the competition and made a variety of dishes.
Later, students were explained the importance of healthy food to stay fit. Neetu Bansal, who was present on the occasion as a judge, exhorted the students to eat fresh homemade food. Students were inspired to eat fresh fruits and salads. Principal of the school Ravinder Sra encouraged and congratulated the students on their efforts and culinary skills.
