Cool breeze blowing, weather takes a pleasant turn

Several areas in the city, including the bus stand and district administrative complex, received rain this afternoon for a few minutes while other parts of the city remained dry.

Commuters were taken by surprise when they witnessed rain while crossing the bus stand towards Mansa road whereas Goniana road was completely dry.

The post afternoon weather remained pleasant and cold breeze kept blowing in the city.

As per the Agri-Met Department of the PAU Regional Station, the maximum temperature recorded in the city today was 33.5 degree Celsius and minimum was 26.2 degree Celsius.

According to weathermen, similar weather conditions will prevail in the region over the next two-three days.

The weather forecast released by the Indian Meteorological Department for the next four days predicts thunderstorm and rain in the region.

The cloudy weather and drizzle brought downthe temperature, despite the fact that the sun played hide and seek in the morning.

So far, Bathinda and its adjoining region have received very less rainas compared to the restof the state.
