Jaito (Faridkot), March 24
Punjab and Haryana High Court Judges Justice TPS Mann and Justice Shekhar Dhawan on Saturday laid the foundation stone of a new judicial court complex at the office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Jaito.
Saplings of trees were also planted in the complex by the Judges under the Swachh Bharat Mission. At a function organsied to mark the occasion, students of Saraswati School Jaito welcomed the guests with Saraswati Vandana. Thereafter, students of Guru Gobind Singh Public School recited shabads.
District and Sessions Judge Faridkot Satwinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Parasher, SSP Dr Nanak Singh and Secretary, Legal Services Authority, Kapil Dev Singla were also present on the occasion.
Justice TPS Mann said the judicial court complex would come up at government land. He said the complex would be equipped with 2 courts, chambers for lawyers, bar room, residencies for the judges, ATM, and post office. — TNS
