University School of Law (USOL), Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, hosted a one-day NSS camp at Ghuman Kalan village on August 29.
As per a note issued here on Tuesday, the camp witnessed activities related to cleanliness and plantation. Students participated in the camp with great enthusiasm. Dean, USOL, Dr Arpana Bansal motivated the students to take part in social welfare activities.
Assistant professor Amandev Singh and Amandeep Kaur Bhullar put in their efforts in making the camp a success. “V-C JS Dhillon has always shown a greater degree of concern towards social issues and this time his concern over cleanliness and plantation is manifested through this camp,” they said.
Meanwhile, Guru Kashi University and Sahara Club organised a blood donation camp on the campus. VC Dr Jaswinder Singh Dhillon was the chief guest. — TNS
