Faridkot, March 17
The administrative and inspecting High Court Judge of the Faridkot Sessions Division, Justice Shekher Dhawan, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, conducted the annual inspection of the working of Judicial Courts here today.
The Judge also visited the Central Jail and listened to the jail inmates’ problems. He expressed his commitment to solve all their legal and genuine demands within a short span of time. The inmates also submitted written applications to the Judge.
Satvinder Singh, District and Sessions Judge, Faridkot; Kapil Dev Singla, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum- Secretary, District Legal Services Authority; and Vikrant Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Faridkot; accompanied the Judge.
Justice Dhawan inspected the Judges’ work, interacted with lawyers, and listened to their grievances. He assured them of redressing their grievances at the earliest. He also said all possible remedial steps would be taken to make the justice delivery system more effective.
Justice Dhawan also visited the jail’s hospital and checked the food being provided to the inmates. He directed the authorities concerned to strictly adhere to the jail manual and provide all amenities prescribed therein to the inmates.
In the last leg of his inspection, he convened a meeting with all Judges posted at the Faridkot Sessions Division.
Justice Ritu Bahri visits Bathinda courts
Bathinda: Justice Ritu Bahri, Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, who is also the inspecting Judge of the Bathinda Sessions Division, conducted the annual inspection of the working of the Judicial Courts here today.
She was accompanied by Paramjeet Singh, District and Sessions Judge, to Joganand village.
The objective of the visit was to review the welfare schemes being run by the administration and government, particularly through the DLSA. DC Diprava Likra and SSP Naveen Singla were also present on this occasion.
