‘Jora 10 Numbaria’ focuses on power struggles

Politics and power move parallel to each other, the more you grow in politics, the more you will be addicted to the taste of power – this is the premise on which the film ‘Jora 10 Numbaria’ has been developed and it shows all the lanes of politics, power, crime and revenge, thereby disclosing the grey side of life.

The film presents actor Deep Sandhu as the lead protagonist playing Jora and also has Bollywood’s legendary actor Dharmendra as its USP. The film also features Kul Sidhu, Hobby Dhaliwal, Sardar Sohi, Mukul Dev, Ashish Duggal, Mukesh Tiwari, Mahabir Bhuller, Yaad Grewal and Neetu Pandher. The film is produced by Amardeep Singh Gill of Bathinda and Mandeep Singh Sidhu. The story is written and directed by Amardeep Singh Gill.

Elaborating on his role, actor Deep Sidhu said, “I had a great time shooting this film. I learnt a lot in the presence of senior actors like Dharmendra, Hobby Dhaliwal and Sardar Sohi. Dharmendra is like a father figure and he is special to me. I am grateful to the director and the producers who have shown their trust in me.”

Actress Kul Sidhu, who belongs to Bathinda, said, “I feel great to be a part of this film. I got an opportunity to learn a lot during the shoot and everyone on the set was very helpful. I thank the producers and the director for choosing me for this film and make me perform my best.”

Director Amardeep Singh Gill, who is a resident of Bathinda, added, “Making this film has been an experience to remember as a director. Working with Dharamji was my dream and his presence on the sets was quite amazing for everyone.”

Producer Mandeep Singh Sidhu said the entire cast and crew of the film gave their best shot. “The film is very different from what is at present being offered to the Punjabi film audience, it has a new concept, new genre and we are sure that the audience will love it,” he said.
