Lt General PC Thimmaya moves to Mhow war college

BATHINDA: Lieutenant General PC Thimmaya handed over the command of the Chetak Corps to Lieutenant General Raj Shukla at a military ceremony held at the Bathinda Cantonment.

Lieutenant General PC Thimmaya handed over the command of the Chetak Corps to Lieutenant General Raj Shukla at a military ceremony held at the Bathinda Cantonment. Lieutenant General PC Thimmaya had taken over the reins of the Chetak Corps on July 5, 2017. In the past one year, the Chetak Corps, in conjunction with the civil administration, has spearheaded many initiatives in border areas, aimed at improving not only the infrastructure but also the quality of life of villagers in these areas.

Steps taken to improve infrastructure in Mahajan Field Firing Ranges have proved to be a win-win situation even for the residents.

Lieutenant General PC Thimmaya proceeds to Mhow (MP) as the Commandant of the prestigious Army War College.

Lieutenant General PC Thimmaya had taken over the reins of the Chetak Corps on July 5, 2017.
