Mohit bags rank 91 in JEE (Main)

Mohit Kumar made the city proud by bagging all-India rank 91 in the JEE (Main) examination the result of which was declared on Monday evening. He secured 318 marks in the engineering examination conducted for admissions to the IITs.

Talking to Bathinda Tribune, Mohit, a student of Sanawar School, said, “I studied for four to five hours a day and regularly attended the classes at Magnet Coaching Institute. Besides, I used to revise daily whatever I would learn at the coaching classes. I haven’t done anything special to clear the JEE (Main) exam.”

He said now his entire focus was on the JEE (Advanced) exam. Mohit gave the credit of his success to his teachers and parents, who always motivated him to do well.

His father is a government school teacher while his mother is a homemaker. Talking about his son’s achievement, Vijay Kumar said, “I am very happy with his performance.”
