Students, their parents and faculty members of Lord Rama Public School celebrated Mother’s Day with great fervour in the district on Saturday.

Tiny-tots of the school gave enthralling performances. Mothers of school students also participated in various cultural activities.

DPS celebrates day

Students and faculty members of DPS School took part in fun and frolic activities to celebrate Mother’s Day on the school campus on Saturday. The chief guest at the event was prof Anjana Munshi, dean, health sciences and research centre, Central University of Punjab.

The programme was also graced by principal Arun and co-coordinator Anusandeep Kaur. The programme started with sapling presentation and welcome speech by children. Children danced to songs such as “Tu kitni achhi hai…” and “Mumma…”.

Children did role play and ramp walk on different themes. Children were attired in different dresses as per different ethnicities of the country. There were fun games, a quiz contest, card making and tambola games for mothers as well.
