Passengers were even stopped from reaching near the ticket counters and automatic ticket vending machines (ATVMs) were also stopped from operating. For sometime even ramp near the entrance, that is used by passengers to reach at platforms, was blocked by the crew members as a result passengers had to take alternate routes.

Later, when few passengers objected citing that they might miss their train if they do not buy ticket at the counter, the crew members let them pass in small groups.

Meanwhile, many visitors gathered at the station to enjoy the shooting of film and many of them even participated in a scene as well.

When contacted, Divisional Railway Manager (Ambala division) GM Singh said, “The film staff members had taken permission to shoot the film at the Bathinda station but it was also mentioned in the letter of agreement that there would be no inconvenience to the passengers. Though, we did not get any formal complaint from any passenger but we got to know about it in the afternoon. After that we had deployed adequate security at the station. Moreover, we will have to check thoroughly and if there was disturbance caused to the passengers then necessary action would be taken in the matter.”
