Hockey players showcased a blend of skill and speed on Tuesday during the Punjabi University Inter-College Men and Women Hockey Championship that is under way at Government Rajindra College.

In the league matches, Malwa College of Physical Education, Bathinda, defeated MGC Fatehgarh Sahib 3-2 in the men’s category.

In another match, DBC, Dhuri, defeated GMC, Patiala, 6-1. In women’s category, DBC, Dhuri, defeated Khalsa College, Patiala, 3-0.

Semi-finals and final matches of the championship would be played on Wednesday.
