‘Once Upon a Time in Amritsar’ dwells on quest for life’s larger meaning

The starcast of the Punjabi movie, ‘Once Upon a Time in Amritsar’, was in the city to promote their upcoming flick today. The movie will hit the cinema houses on June 10.
Talking to the media persons, Pavan Malhotra said, “Every human strives to understand his purpose in life. While a few lucky ones are able to clearly comprehend their role on this earth, the rest of us always strive to find our path. Have you ever imagined what it would be like if your quest for achieving eternal goal took you on a path that sets life spiralling in action? This is a kind of plot that the movie has.”
Punjabi singer Dilpreet Dhillon has played a lead role in the movie.
Throwing light on the plot, Harjit Singh Ricky, director, said, "The story of the movie is about a young lad (Dilpreet Dhillon) who leaves Amritsar, the holy abode of Sikhs, in search of ulterior motive of his life and asks the Satguru to direct him to fulfil the motive of his life. After seeking the blessings of the Almighty at the Golden Temple, fate rolls the dice and Dilpreet's life undergoes a twist. The movie encompasses his struggle to grasp the larger essence of this twist of destiny.”
Tanvi Nagi, the lead actress, expressed her delight for being a part of the movie. She said, “I am thrilled from my core of heart and I am sure the audience will feel the same once they watch the movie.”
Actor Ashish Duggal said, “The movie is a tale of every person, who strives to find their purpose in the life. The fast-paced thriller will sure leave the audiences spellbound.”
“The movie is a fresh chapter in the book of Punjabi Cinema. I am positive that the people are going to love this fast paced and engrossing movie”, said Mohit Banwait, producer of the movie.
