Proving beneficial to local residents the Fard Kendra Mansa in the month of November had provided services to 6,376 residents. Making rapid strides towards serving the local residents the Fard Kendras in Mansa district had benefitted above 6,376 people in only November this year while it had earned revenue of about Rs 7,41,140.
‘Fard kendra’, a futuristic initiative of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal for the rural population, has facilitated a copy of land records at the counter at minimal charges besides giving other services.
As per official data, the ‘Fard Kendra’ at Mansa had provided services to about 1,593 residents, in Sardulgarh block it provided services to about 1,142, Budhlada 1,286 people took benefit, in Juhnir about 427 residents, Bareta with 615 residents, Joga 657 and in Bhikhi about 656 people got services through these Fard Kendras.
Mansa Deputy Commissioner Isha Kalia said, “The district is earning the revenue from these Fard Kendras on one hand while serving the people on other hand. A number of services are being provided here to people under one roof that had made their life easy. Under this, ambitious services have been provided at the ‘Fard Kendras’ set up at Mansa, Sardulgarh, Budhlada, Jhunir, Bareta, Joga, and Bhikhi blocks of the district.”
She added that ‘Fard Kendras’ were proving a great success as the people, especially farmers, were availing the facility of computerised ‘jamabandi’ (revenue record of land) not only within a short span of time but in a hassle-free and transparent way. Besides this, a number of services had become an easy access to public under one roof.
