Political parties have let down people, say unions

Calling upon the people to be realistic and give up all hope that they have put in political parties and their candidates, leaders of various unions have urged the residents to participate in the ‘Raj Badlo, Samaj Badlo’ conference. It will be organised in Bathinda on January 31.

Giving details about the conference, members of the core committee — Buta Singh Burjgill, Jhanda Singh Jethuke and Shinder Singh Nathuwala — entrusted with making arrangements for the event, said the political parties and their representatives had failed to raise the issues related to the common man.

They said the parties had been making promises which hold no ground for the common man.
