Sandhu takes over as Faridkot SSP

Raj Bachan Singh Sandhu, a senior PPS and an ex-Army officer, on Saturday joined as Senior Superintendent of Police, Faridkot, replacing Dr Nanak Singh (IPS), now Bathinda SSP.
It is Sandhu’s second posting as SSP. He has been shifted from Ropar to Faridkot. Sandhu joined as SSP, Ropar, in July last year.
Sandhu who had joined the Punjab Police Service (PPS) as Deputy Superintendent of Police in 1994, had over one-decade stint as ADC to the Governor of Punjab.
Sources revealed that before July 2017, Sandhu had a field posting as SP (Security and Traffic) in Mohali in 2006 and then he was posted as ADC to the then Governor, SF Rodrigues.
For the next over 10 years, Sandhu remained with the Punjab Raj Bhawan, till his posting as SSP, Ropar, last year.
