Agam Aggarwal bagged an all India fifth rank with 83.5 marks in the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) conducted by the National Law University (NLU) Delhi. Agam is the son of district and sessions judge Barnala, Virinder Aggarwal.

NLU Delhi was founded in 2008 and has been ranked the second best law college in India by NIRF Rankings 2019. Agam is the only candidate from Punjab to get the seat for admission to the 5-year BA LLB programme 2019-2020 in NLU Delhi, on the basis of AILET exam.

AILET was held on May 5 and as per the first merit list, only 73 candidates have been offered admission out of total 18,583 candidates from all over India.

Agam dedicated his success to his parents and teachers and said he had worked very hard to achieve this goal.
