Bathinda, January 5
Expressing their anger against the terrorist attack on the Pathankot Air Force base, members of the Shiv Sena today held a protest march on the GT Road here and burnt the Pakistan flag, blaming the neighbouring country for the attack.
Raising slogans against Pakistan, the vice-president of the youth wing of the party in Punjab, Ravinder Thapar, accused the neighbouring country of continuously betraying the friendly relations being maintained by India.
He said the attacks had not only caused terror in the border towns of the country but also taken lives of many brave Indian soldiers.
He requested the Indian government to shun its friendly attitude towards Pakistan and deal with the situation with an iron hand to show the might of the India armed forces.
