Ace shooter Avneet Kaur Sidhu (36) won two silver medals at the 11th All-India Police Shooting Championship held at Indore from January 29 to February 2.

Sidhu, who is serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Punjab Police in Jalandhar, won a silver medal in the 10-meter air rifle event in the individual category. She bagged a silver medal in the 50-meter air rifle event in the team category.

In August 2017, Sidhu had won four medals, including a gold medal, at the World Police Games, Los Angeles in the USA. She had also won gold medals in four All India Police Shooting Championships in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.
