SP Surinderpal to receive police medal

Superintendant of Police (Headquarters), Bathinda, Surinderpal Singh will receive the Police Medal for Meritorious Service, which was announced today. The Governor of Punjab will give the medal in the next few days.
Surinderpal was deputed in Bathinda four months ago in October 2017. He had joined the Punjab Police as assistant sub inspector (ASI) in 1988 and has served in many police districts.
He also served as DSP (Bathinda Rural), DSP (D) in Bathinda, Talwandi Sabo, Budhladha, Jalalabad, Mehal Kalan and also as DSP Vigilance in Mansa.
Surinderpal was promoted as SP in 2016 and after that he served as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police in Special Branch, Ludhiana, and SP (H) in Barnala.
Talking to Bathinda Tribune, Surinderpal said it was a proud moment for him as he served the nation and the people with honesty.
