SSP Gurpreet transferred to SAS Nagar

The Punjab government today transferred SSP, Bathinda, Gurpreet Bhullar, to SAS Nagar. Gurpreet joined as the SSP in Bathinda on November 18 last year.
After completing 13 months in Bathinda, he has been transferred back to SAS Nagar, where he remain deployed as the SSP for over three years.
He is transferred in the reshuffling of six police officers in all over Punjab.
Bhullar cracked down a few major cases during his stint as the SSP, Bathinda. The major cases include arrest of a Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist, Ramandeep Singh, and also busted criminal gangs involved in smuggling drugs.
A recipient of the President’s Police Gallantry Award, Bhullar joined the force as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and served as the SSP in Muktsar, Moga, Ropar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana (Rural) and SAS Nagar.
SSP, SAS Nagar, Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti, will now join as the SSP Bathinda.
