The star cast of upcoming Punjabi flik ‘Teshan’ was in the city to promote their movie today. The film is all set to release on September 23.

In the movie, ‘Teshan’ is the name of the main character who found his soulmate and things got changed when he decided to get married with her. He struggles with his circumstances and how he deal with it is all in the story.

Singer-turned-actor Happy Raikot is playing the lead male role along with actress Diljott. Other main characters of the movie are Yograj Singh, Karmjit Anmol, Shavinder Mahal, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Nisha Bano, Ayushi Yadav and Minto. Prince Kanwaljit Singh has also penned down the story, screenplay and dialogues. Sukhbir Singh has directed the movie.

Happy Raikoti said, “The film will be like a gift to my fans. Just like my songs, there will be a reflection of a common youth in the movie. The story of the movie related with the feeling of a common man and audience will feel that their story is being shown on the screen.”

He is playing a character of a youngster who hails from a backward village and Prince Kanwaljit plays his closest friend.

Prince Kanwaljit said that the film portrayed the life of rural people from various angles. Along with the story, special attention has been paid to technique and music to make the film stronger, he added.

Diljott is playing a character of an urban girl Jinni. The music has been composed by Laadi Gill. Happy Raikoti has written all songs. Apart from him, Ammy Virk and Gulrej Akhtar gave their voices in the songs.
