To beat the heat, pool parties in high demand

With the temperature soaring high, the time seems right for celebrating the summer weekend with a pool party. To beat the hot and humid weather in the region, pool parties are high in demand these days in the city.

Party junkies have every reason to look forward to cool aqua theme parties as various hotels and clubs are offering their swimming pools for the parties in the city.

Pool parties are an exciting affair as apart from giving pools, hotels are also providing full decor consisting of the inflatable items like life-size floats and balls in the pool and colourful ballons all around the pool with people playing volley ball by the poolside or just lounging in the pool.

This unique experience by the pool includes a barbeque and grill, live counters, fresh salads and fruit platters. Hotels are also offering specially-designed menu of vegetable blend juices, smoothies, health drinks and cocktails coupled with upbeat music rocks the party.

Hotel Sepal and HBN Country club offers the pool party in their swimming pools in the city.

Arish Katia, Hotel Sepal owner said private pool parties demand on the weekend are quite high these days and even demand of our pool membership is also on high this season as temperature is quite high these days and people want to beat the heat in cool pool water.

He said earlier here people use to do pool sides parties, but this season people are hosting pool parties.

Manoj Gupta Mitha of HBN Country club said people this season are organising pool parties in high numbers. They just come enjoy and relax in the pool. This trend of pool parties is increasing day by day as city is setting into new party trends.

Manpreet Kaur, event planner said this season she had done décor of about 20 pool parties since May so far. She said people organising pool parties demands tiara made of flowers for girls and flowers ring for men to tie around their wrist.

She said apart from this party people are requesting for special barbecue at the pool side and they specially include mocktails, cocktails and fusion vodka golgappas.
