Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday unveiled the statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at Sector 11-15 chowk in Panchkula on the occasion of Shaheedi Diwas.

While replying to questions of mediapersons regarding the “secret meetings” held with the ministers after he unveiled the statue, Khattar rubbished reports on differences in the state Cabinet and said the entire Cabinet was united and was collectively taking decisions for the welfare of people of the state.

He said it had been the culture and tradition of the BJP to sit together and discuss issues and then take decision.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the slogan ‘learn to sacrifice your life for nation’ was given during the freedom struggle, but now there was need for the slogan ‘learn to live for the country’.
