BJP leader’s husband found dead

Sanjay Phogat (45), husband of the state BJP women wing’s vice-president Sonali Phogat, was found dead at his farmhouse in Dandur village of the district this morning.

The deceased, who had gone to his farmhouse last evening, was found unconscious this morning when a family member went there. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Surender Phogat, the victim’s younger brother, told the police that his nephew Ilu informed about Sanjay lying unconscious on a bed . A post-mortem examination will be carried out in the civil hospital to establish the cause of death.

Sonali Phogat, a member of the party’s national executive, recently made her debut as an actress on the small screen . Away in Mumbai,she was informed about the incident this morning. The family sources said she would reach Hisar tonight.
