Burglars rape woman after robbery in F’bad village

Miscreants allegedly raped a woman in the district’s Dadasiya village in the wee hours of Tuesday after they looted Rs 18,000, a head of cattle and some valuables from her farmhouse.
About 10 unidentified miscreants entered the farmhouse around 1.30 am. Armed with weapons and sticks, they tied up men of the family, looted the valuables, took the daughter of the farmhouse’s owner to fields and allegedly raped her.
They also allegedly molested another girl of the family and fled after 30 minutes.
Senior police officials, including the DCP, visited the crime spot in the morning. The police have registered a case under various sections of the IPC.
