Flipkart acquires mobile payments firm PhonePe

Bengaluru: Flipkart on Friday announced the acquisition of PhonePe, a mobile payments company. PhonePe is building India's first Unified Payments Interface  based product. It will allow users to transact using their unique identification and mobile number or virtual payments address without sharing any other bank details. PTI

Non-subsidised LPG down Rs 4, jet fuel price up 8.7%

The price of Aviation Turbine Fuel or jet fuel, was on Friday hiked by 8.7 per cent but that of non-subsidised cooking gas was cut by Rs 4 per cylinder on global trends. ATF price in Delhi was raised by Rs 3,371.55 per kilolitre (kl), or 8.69%, to Rs 42,157.01 per kl, oil companies said on Friday. PTI
