Chandigarh: Bangladesh-based furniture brand Hatil has opened its first store in India at Zirakpur (Punjab). The company plans to expand its operations in tier-II cities on a franchise model. It has appointed Kratos Furnishers the master franchise. It intends to open two outlets in Chandigarh and one each in Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Bhatinda and Patiala this fiscal. Selim H Rahman, Chairman and MD, Hatil Complex, Bangladesh, said, “We are planning to set up 25-30 stores in the country in three years.” TNS
