Honda unveils new Jazz at Rs 5.3 lakh; Maruti begins booking of S-Cross

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) today announced the opening of pre-launch bookings for its upcoming premium new model S-Cross, whereas Honda brought in its premium hatchback Jazz again in the Indian market, with the third-generation version of the model priced between Rs 5.3 lakh and Rs 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The S-Cross will be launched in early August and will be sold and delivered at the network of new generation Nexa showrooms, (MSIL) said.

Nexa is the new chain of showrooms that MSI has set up in order to sell its premium products. The company plans to set up 100 such showrooms in 30 cities by the end of the fiscal.

“Thirty Nexa showrooms will begin operations in the next few weeks,” MSIL said.

S-Cross is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh. It will have two engine options of 1.6 litre and 1.3 litre diesel with the company sourcing them from Fiat under a licence agreement.

The petrol variants of the car are priced between Rs 5.3 lakh and Rs 7.29 lakh, while the diesel versions are priced between Rs 6.49 and Rs 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
