ONGC Q4 profit jumps 12% to Rs 4,416 crore

ONGC on Thursday reported 12% jump in the March quarter net profit as it reversed part of impairment losses and got back some of the fuel subsidy from the government. At Rs 4,416 crore, ONGC’s net profit in the January-March quarter was 12.2% higher than Rs 3,935 crore profit in the same period previous fiscal, CMD DK Sarraf said. PTI

Jet Airways posts Rs 426-crore Q4 profit

Staying profitable for the fourth straight quarter, Jet Airways on Thursday posted a net profit of Rs 426 crore in the three months to March, primarily aided by lower fuel expenses and higher passenger numbers. It had a net loss of Rs 1,803 crore in the year-ago period. PTI
