RBI sets rupee reference rate at 67.4325 against dollar

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 674325 against the US dollar and 733868 for the euro on Friday

Mumbai, January 15

The Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 67.4325 against the US dollar and 73.3868 for the euro on Friday.

These rates were 67.0950 and 72.9725, respectively, yesterday.

According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 97.1095 and 57.25 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.

The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, the statement added. — PTI
