SML Isuzu Ltd (formerly Swaraj Mazda Ltd) has approved un-audited financial results for the quarter ended September 30 and half year ended September 30, 2016 (H1). The profit before tax for Q2 touched Rs 13.21 crore, an increase of 42%. Also, profit after tax for Q2 is Rs 9.69 crore against Rs 6.36 crore, an increase of 52% over last year. Net revenue for Q2 reached Rs 304.60 crore as against corresponding quarter’s net revenue of Rs 268.90 crore. TNS

Yatra, Uttarakhand in pact for homestays

Online travel company Yatra.com on Tuesday said it has signed an agreement with the Uttarakhand government to promote homestays and highlight the state’s unique tourist attractions. Under the MoU, Yatra will promote all the state tourism-approved homestays, wherein guests (travellers) can rent a room in the home of a local family (host) or the entire house, the company said. IndiGo’s net profit jumps 24% to Rs 140 cr

Budget carrier IndiGo’s parent InterGlobe Aviation on Tuesday posted a nearly 24% rise in its net profit at Rs 139.85 crore in the three months ended September 2016, mainly aided by higher passenger revenues. Its total revenue from operations surged to Rs 4,166.93 crore in the latest September quarter. PTI
