SpiceJet on Monday announced heavily discounted fares, starting at Rs 3,111 inclusive of all taxes and fee, for its international flights for a limited period. The three-day 'Festive Season Sale' will be open till midnight of December 21 and the travel period covered under the offer is between January 15, 2017 and October 28, 2017, it said. PTI

Laurus Lab gains 12% on debut

Shares of drugmaker Laurus Lab on Monday made a strong debut on the bourses and surged 12.26% over its issue price of Rs 428. Earlier in the day, the stock was listed at Rs 490 with a premium of nearly 14.48% over its issue price of Rs 428 on BSE. The shares finally ended the day at Rs 480.50, up 12.26% over its issue price. PTI

Gold imports shrink 30.5% to $15.7 bn

Gold imports witnessed a fall of 30.5% to $15.74 billion in April-November of the current fiscal, which is expected to keep a lid on the current account deficit. Total imports of the precious metal in the corresponding period of 2015-16 stood at $22.64 billion. PTI

Adani Group, NSDC to train 3 lakh youth

Adani Group has entered into a pact with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to train 300,000 youth across the country by 2022. As a part of the MoU, over 40,000 youth will be trained and assisted towards attaining employment per year, the company said. PTI
