Punjab-based Tynor Orthotics (P) Ltd has set up a new unit at Mohali in collaboration with French orthopaedic company Thuasne. The total project cost is Rs 150 crore, including 24% FDI from the French firm.
This is Tynor’s fourth unit in the region. It has now three units at Mohali and one at Panchkula. The company is eyeing a turnover of Rs 140 crore in the current fiscal.
The company currently exports products to 37 countries. “The new unit is the first green industrial campus of tricity. It has a capacity to produce products worth Rs 500 crore and will employ around 1,500 professionals and workers,” said AJ Singh, Director, Tynor Orthotics (P) Ltd.
