Johannesburg: A new tea blend inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s minimalistic approach to diet intake has been launched here at Satyagraha House in South Africa. The blend was named ‘Satyagraha House Tea’, an organic caffeine-free blend of all-natural ingredients. Satyagraha House, a museum and guest house adapted from a house where Gandhi lived, joined luxury African brand Yswara to create its own bespoke wellness blend. pti

New York: Wipro chairman Azim Premji is among the honourees of this year's Carnegie Medal, considered the most prestigious prize in philanthropy, for his efforts to reform India's public school system. ‘It’s a girl’, announces Tokyo zoo
Tokyo: A baby panda recently born in Japan is a girl, a Tokyo zoo said, adding that the little cub appeared to be in good health. Ueno Zoo celebrated the first birth of a baby panda in five years on June 12. Pandas are born pink, hairless and weighing around 100 grams - so small it can be difficult to determine their sex. AFP

New York: Pushing a running electric lawnmower for 71 metres is not a difficult thing to do, but try doing that distance balancing it on your chin. New Yorker Ashrita Furman broke, by more than 50 metres, his Guinness World Record for "the farthest distance walked balancing a powered lawnmower on the chin". Reuters
