Chandigarh, March 24
A total of 1.28 lakh devotees thronged the Mata Mansa Devi temple at Panchkula on Saturday. At the Kali Mata temple in Kalka, 67,500 devotees turned up.
A total of Rs 22.14 lakh in cash was offered at the Mansa Devi temple while at over Rs 5 lakh was offered at the Kali Mata temple .
However, till Saturday, Rs 1.27 crore has been collected at the Mata Mansa Devi temple. About 19.52 gm of gold and 2,048.82 gm of silver were offered at the temple. At the Kali Mata temple, 2.850 gm of gold and 22.37 gm of silver were offered.
Not just that US $ 57 and Australian $ 35 were offered at the Mansa Devi temple.
