15 seats in UT pool vacant after Day 1

Chandigarh, August 1 

The centralised admissions for 333 MCom seats in all the city colleges started at the Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50, in Chandigarh today.

The admissions were held for students falling in the general category, Scheduled Caste, physically handicapped, freedom fighter’s ward and riot victims under the UT pool.  The highest cut-off was recorded for Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College (GGDSD) College, Sector 32, at 84.71 per cent followed by the host college at 84.32 

per cent. As many as 15 seats are still vacant at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women (GGSCW), Sector 26.

The admissions for general category and reserved categories from the outside UT pool, sports, defence and additional seats will take place on Tuesday.
