As many as 150 students seeking admission in engineering colleges under the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) reported at Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, today. JoSAA displayed institute-wise opening and closing rank yesterday.
PEC is one of the 45 reporting-cum-helping centres for admission in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other government-funded technical institutes. Students can get their documents verified and accept the allotted seat at reporting centres till July 2. The display of seats filled and the availability status of seats will be displayed on July 3 from 10 am to 5 pm. The second round of seat allocation will begin from 5 pm. JoSAA will conduct seven rounds of seat allocation for academic programmes offered by institutes under JoSAA-2019. Candidates allotted a seat must pay the acceptance fee and get the documents verified at any reporting centre for seat acceptance.
For admission to IIITs, NITs
