The Crime Branch of the Panchkula police nabbed two youngsters for drug peddling. They used to bring charas and other narcotic substances from Manali and supply it in the city.
The suspects have been identified as Gautam Gandhi, a resident of Sector 10, and Dikshit, a resident of Sector 11.
CIA Inspector Aman Kumar said after seeing an approaching PCR vehicle, they tried to flee on a motorcycle, but were nabbed along with a polythene bag, containing 500 gm of charas.
A case been registered against them under Section 20, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act, 1985, at the Sector 5 police station. — TNS
