3-D lab opens at Police DAV School

Patiala, July 18

AS Rai, Inspector General of Police (Patiala Zone), inaugurated the three dimensional (3-D) lab at Police DAV Public School here today.

The lab has been set up to impart quality education and to give clarity on the topics related to students of the school. The students can get three dimensional pictures on various topics and can enhance their knowledge.

The lab has been set up by the joint efforts of the Police Department and the school management.

Others eminent persons such as SSP Patiala S Bhoopathi, SP (Headquarters) Fatehgarh Sahib Sharanjit Singh and DSP Satpal Sharma also graced the occasion.

School students also gave a brief about the ongoing activities of the school. Principal Meena Thapar took the dignitaries around the campus to show the progress of the school. The visitors witnessed the screening of the lab by wearing special glasses and were told 

how education is imparted to the students.

After that, the distinguished guests planted saplings on the school campus in order to create awareness regarding saving environment among children.

AS Rai said in today’s scenario stress should be laid on quality and 

practical education of children. He applauded the efforts of the staff and the school in this regard. He concluded by saying that quality education leaves a long-lasting impression on a child’s mind and helps him to have a secure future.
